
Above all, in addition to cost savings and protection against pirate copying, this concept enables us to create a peaceful and personal atmosphere for discussions with our customers, who really appreciate this and look forward to taking a break from the hectic events at the exhibition to pay us a visit in the “Schwan suite”.
In November 2007, there were 37,078 visitors to Cosmoprof Asia in Hong Kong, spread across an exhibition area of 47,000 m² with 1,265 exhibitors. Visitors came from a total of 36 countries and regions, with 20,472 coming from abroad (a 5% increase on the previous year).
We were able to hold 32 meetings with customers from eleven countries over the three days of the exhibition in our showroom.
A major trend visible at the exhibition was the constant growth of the SPA business branch in Asia. This trend was continued at the Hong Kong exhibition’s little sister, Cosmoprof Shanghai (15-17 January 2008), where a total of just three exhibition halls were completely dedicated to this subject.
The Cosmoprof Bologna is the industry’s flagship exhibition, however Cosmoprof Asia in Hong Kong is and remains the most important exhibition for us in the Asia-Pacific region, offering an incomparably efficient opportunity to make a great deal of contact with our existing customers in that region, where Schwan-STABILO Cosmetics enjoyed double-figured growth in turnover this year.
