On 22 and 23 June, around 4,000 expert visitors from 60 countries met at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris to be inspired and excited by innovations in the cosmetics sector. 160 exhibitors had agreed to participate in the eighth edition of this established event in the cosmetics sector – and, of course, Schwan Cosmetics was also represented there: the heading was "Redefine Luxury, and at our stall, decorated in golden earthy shades, colleagues presented rich, lasting textures in sumptuous metallic colours, both for women and men. Two further colour trends for 2018, "Redefine Nature" and "Redefine Yourself" completed the wide range of colours. Our appearance at the "Digital Beauty Conference" was a further highlight of this year's MakeUp in Paris: in his keynote address, our Vice President Digital Transformation Bernd Preuschoff outlined the topic of "Beauty 4.0" to a large audience, also taking the opportunity to introduce the Schwan Digital Studio.

For several years, the "MakeUp in Paris" has been one of the most important meeting points of the cosmetics sector. On two trade fair days, this year over 3,500 trade visitors met in the fashion capital. Of course, Schwan Cosmetics was represented with its own stand.
During the seventh edition of this event, the trade fair team whisked visitors to a mythical and exciting summer garden, the "Night Garden". Deep shades of colour and innovative textures for sensuous lips and eyes were awaiting them at the stylishly decorated stand. This year, the particular focus was on eye brows with a comprehensive portfolio of products.
With around 90 customer conversations and numerous exciting contacts, the "MakeUp in Paris" yet again fulfilled its promise.

More than 3200 visitors in only two days – the sixth MakeUp in Paris set a record. As an established name at the trade fair, Schwan Cosmetics was present again at the site. Get-togethers with customers, business meetings and conferences were part of the agenda for Dr. Jörg Karas, Managing Director, and the seven members of the team led by Thorsten Wolf and Christian Eisen, Sales Managers.
Inspired by the exotic fauna and flora, shades of intensive green and rich red dominated our stand at the fair. The colour intensity in make-up and fashion predicted for 2016 was artfully conveyed by Schwan Cosmetics in its Feel Colours Theme "Amazonien".

Schwan Cosmetics was taking part of the anniversary edition of the MakeUp in Paris show on June 12th & 13th, 2014. At its 36 sqm stand, Schwan Cosmetics was presenting innovative products and formulas as well as the upcoming colour trends for the cosmetic industry to their customers.
On the two days of the event, 2,800 professionals visited the 5th edition of the show, an increase of 20% compared to 2013.
Therefore the MakeUp in Paris show continued to keep its exceptional reputation this year.
